We are hiring for a full time, direct hire Acute Care Clinical Manager in Littleton, CO.
Clinical Manager - Acute Care
Provides a minimum of bimonthly supervision for crisis team and as needed supervision for clinical team and maintain adequate documentation of such. Ensure that high quality, recovery focused, evidence based practices are being utilized when appropriate to serve our clients.
Thoroughly trains new staff to Acute Care Campus crisis clinicians and ensure their knowledge of policies and procedures.
Track and ensure the timely completion of required clinical and administrative documentation including but not limited to daily summary notes, case reviews, peer reviews, CCARs, critical incident reports, SALs, timesheets, etc.
In conjunction with the administrative manager, responsible for overseeing the provision of services to Acute Care Campus clients and for the documentation of these services to ensure compliance with regulations of Arapahoe Douglas Mental Health Network, Department of Behavioral Health, BHI, CMS, Department of Health and Environment, and other regulatory agencies.
Supervise staff in establishment of close communication/coordination with other clinicians for the purpose of support, crisis intervention, and effective and efficient management of services provided for the consumers being served across programs.
Assist as needed with crisis intervention and milieu management including seclusion and restraint procedures.
Ensure critical incidents and occurrence reporting is completed clearly and within the appropriate time frames.
Coordinate and monitor staff professional development, training and group supervision.
May also provide clinical supervision and training to the crisis response team.
Masters or better.
Must be able to establish and maintain positive, effective working relationships with other professionals in all levels of authority.
Knowledge of business operations and financial management preferred. Must have the ability to supervise clinical staff in a managed care setting and have knowledge of mental health rules and regulations and community resources. Requires skill in utilization review and brief treatment. Must be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, and the ability to develop therapeutic relationships with clients and families.
Three years experience with adults with severe and persistent mental illness, preferably in an inpatient setting. Must possess staff supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership and organizational abilities. Must possess advanced level of clinical skills in working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Must be competent in clinical assessment, diagnosis and therapeutic interventions.
