We are assisting a not-for-profit in their search for an Assessment Psychologist in the San Francisco area working a hybrid role. 
  JOB SUMMARY An Assessment Psychologist is responsible for having an in-depth understanding of the referral question and expertise in creating a battery of standardized testing that uniquely addresses the needs of the client.  This may include a full battery or more focused assessments for children, adolescents, and young adults in accordance with the quality standards and clinical guidelines established.  Each client that is assessed will receive at the time of feedback a summary of findings and initial recommendations, with a final report forthcoming. Providers will be expected to participate in treatment conferences and case consultations and work collaboratively with those on the treatment team. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • PhD or PsyD in Clinical or School Psychology with 3 years of experience in clinical and assessment practice.   A valid license in the state of California.
  • Thorough knowledge of procedures for developmental, psychological, and neuropsychological evaluations of children, adolescents, and young adults (4-24 y.o.).
  • Training in cognitive, personality and neuro-psychological assessment.
  • Training in child and adolescent services.
  • History of a collaborative and integrated approach to care.
  • A commitment to providing innovative, quality assessment services to children, adolescents, and young adults.
  • Excellent time management, especially in meeting designated productivity expectations as assigned by the Clinical Director.
  • Appreciation for and experience with integrating assessment findings into treatment planning.
  • Commitment to outcome studies that inform care.
