PsychPros is hiring for a full time, direct hire Mental Health Professional in Rock Springs, WY.
The Mental Health Professional is responsible for providing direct clinical services to clients. The overall purpose is to provide quality service delivered with dignity and respect for the client and community. This service is aimed at improving the client' s overall mental health, and generating increased community wellness. The Mental Health Professional will practice in an ethical manner, work with colleagues and clients with respect and will be subject to supervision of his/her activities.
Maintain a caseload, provide clinical services upon request without lapse in coverage, and accepts new clients in accordance with the procedures and needs of the agency
Performs timely and thorough professional quality assessments that result in a broad picture of treatment needs, including co-occurring disorders when appropriate
Clinical diagnosis, treatment plan, and progress notes are congruent and adhere to best practices and quality standard of care
Documents symptoms, course of treatment and provides comprehensive clinical services
Provides crisis intervention services to stabilize clients
Works collaboratively with clients to effectively address mental health and substance abuse issues
Identifies, provides and/or arranges for case management services ensuring quality wrap around services for clients
Interprets and generates reports/correspondence of professional quality in a timely fashion
Completes paperwork relevant to billing procedures, including pre-certification and re-certification for care
Turns in completed dailies with minimal errors within the established deadlines
Completion of a Master' s Degree in a clinical program that is regionally accredited and that is primarily oriented to mental health or substance abuse service delivery
Eligibility for licensure in the State of Wyoming as well as acquisition and maintenance of that license to practice and to obtain maximum insurance reimbursement
Completion of a supervised clinical experience, preferably as part of the degree program, comprising a minimum of 200 hours
Eligibility and ability to maintain professional liability insurance provided by the agency
Ability to pass a criminal background investigation or demonstrate rehabilitation
Ability to pass a Department of Motor Vehicle check, maintain a current driver license and maintain current insurance when the job necessitates staff to transport clients
