We are in need of nursing coverage (RN or LPN) for a few of our facilities located in Yakima, Washington.  
 
The first facility is looking for staff beginning anytime.  This is a sixteen bed facility that serves adults who require inpatient treatment due to an emotional crisis or change in function due to a mental illness. The program provides evaluation, stabilization, and brief treatment for men and women age 18 and older. An integrated, multi-disciplinary team of professionals provides individualized treatment and coordinates a comprehensive discharge plan that includes family and emphasizes utilizing community resources wherever possible.
 
Schedules:
1 position:  3-12 hour shifts, 7am-7: 30pm with rotating days off.
1 position:  3-12 hour shifts, 7pm-7: 30am with rotating days off.
 
 
The second facility is looking for a staff beginning anytime.  This is a short term, residential place of healing for youth aged 11-17 who are in crisis. The program provides crisis stabilization, evaluation and treatment for up to 16 youth (male or female) utilizing an established, Trauma-Informed, Evidence-Based Model of Care. An integrated team of professionals provides individualized care and a comprehensive discharge plan that emphasizes community resources and family support.
 
Schedule:
1 position:  3-12 hour shifts, 7pm-7: 30am, Wednesday-Friday.  
 
  We have a program that will be opening March 2016.  This program is a twenty four bed secure residential treatment program that serves male adults that have been deemed by the court to be unable to aid and assist in court proceedings regarding current pending criminal charges due to a mental illness.  The goal of this program is to offer residents treatment and educational opportunities in order to prepare them to be able to fully aid and assist in their own defense.  Services provided are offered in a multidisciplinary team approach in which collaboration and teamwork is heavily emphasized.  The program will employ evidence based practices that are trauma informed and proven to be effective educational and treatment methods.
 
Schedules:
Several positions: 3-12 hour shifts, 7am-7: 30pm OR 7pm-7: 30am  
 
  Responsibilities of the nurse would include:
§  Basic head to toe nursing assessment at intake
§  Administering medication
§  Preparing medication for discharges the following day
§  Taking intake calls for potential admissions
§  Calling on-call providers for admission orders, or medication orders if necessary
§  Helping on the floor with the clients (they would not be expected to take a lead in this, but given it is overnight there are times when they might be out on the floor working with clients to help them go to bed)
