Job Description
We are in need of a full time, direct hire Social Worker in Rosemead, CA.
Under the immediate supervision of the Program Supervisor, the Residential Social Worker is directly responsible for the planning and delivery of mental health treatment and DCFS related services Residential-Based Program residents.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
The Social Worker has the primary responsibility for the overall delivery of traditional and evidence-based mental health services for Residential-Based Program residents. The Social Worker is responsible for consulting with the program leadership in reference to treatment goals, treatment plans, continual placement, goals adjustment and refinement of the clients overall mental health treatment program(s).
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Master’ s Degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology or related field or Doctorate Degree in Psychology; from an approved graduate school
2. Licensed, Licensed eligible, or Waivered per DMH.
3. Must be registered and in good standing with the BBS or BOP.
