Job Description


We have a temporary Mental Health Social Worker assignment available at a well-respected hospital system in Los Angeles, CA 90012. 

Responsibilities include:
  • Providing group therapy
  • Assessments
  • Makes referrals to appropriate community services and outside providers.
  • Coordinates transmission of clinical and benefit treatment to patients, families, and outside agencies.
  • Acts as liaison for outside agencies, non-plan facilities, and outside providers
  • Arranges follow-up appointments post-discharge.

Qualifications-
  • Candidates must have a master's degree in social work with an active BBS registration (ACSW) number and have relevant experience to qualify.
  • Experience conducting intake, assessment, and group counseling.

Pay-$35/hour
  • Work schedule will be M-F, 7:30 am-4:00 pm or 8 am -4:30 pm
  • Assignment is expected to last 6 months.
