Job Description
We have an immediate temporary Mental Health Social Worker assignment available at a well-respected hospital system in Los Angeles, CA 90012.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing group therapy
- Assessments
- Makes referrals to appropriate community services and outside providers.
- Case management
- Coordinates transmission of clinical and benefit treatment to patients, families, and outside agencies.
- Acts as liaison for outside agencies, non-plan facilities, and outside providers
- Arranges follow-up appointments post-discharge.
Qualifications-
- Candidates must have a master's degree in social work with an active BBS registration (ACSW) number and have relevant experience to qualify.
- Experience conducting intake, assessment, and group counseling.
Pay-$36/hour.
- Work schedule will be a day shift M-F
- Assignment is expected to last 2+ months.
