We are recruiting for Adolescent Treatment Workers, to work with children in a residential setting in Kentucky. Adolescent Treatment Workers promote and maintain a therapeutic living environment conducive to the safe and healthy growth and development of the residents in care.
This position is in need of second shift candidates with rotating weekends; 1pm-9pm or 3pm-11pm. There is an opportunity for part-time weekend shifts only.
Qualifications: High school diploma/GED, and six months to one year experience working with at-risk youth. Punctual time and attendance history, valid and current drives license and auto insurance, required for driving company 12-passenger van and own vehicle if needed. Must be at least 21 years of age to apply.

Other Responsibilities Include:
- Actively adhere to the six core principles of trauma informed care and promotes a trauma informed culture.
- Maintains familiarity with emergency and crisis intervention procedures and implement when needed.
- Works cooperatively with and communicates effectively with other team members, parents and other professionals in exchanging information and assisting the client to meet their individual treatment goals.
- Maintains a clean, safe, secure and orderly environment in the residence, while adhering to a structured daily routine. Requires some housekeeping and maintenance.
- Provides transportation for clients to appointments as needed or assigned agency vehicle or own car).
- Dispenses medications and logs all medications distributed to residents.
- Plans, implements and supervises daily activities for the residents
- Teaches the residents family living skills, helps them work through emotional and behavioral problems and assists them with preparing for future placement.
- Continually evaluates the residents’ progress toward service plan goals and objectives and make needed revisions with treatment team.
- Requires supervision of volunteers and volunteer groups
