We are hiring for an Assistant Director / Training Coordinator in Los Angeles. The Assistant Director/Training Coordinator will report to the Director; provide support, supervision, consultation to clinical and support staff; coordinate and oversee the Post-Doctoral Training Program; assist the Director in the development and coordination of clinical service programs; assist, develop and maintain policies and procedures for clinical services; adhere to best clinical practices, applicable state and federal statutes, local health and safety laws and regulations, student affairs risk management and professional code of ethics; prepare statistical and other written reports in accordance with job responsibilities; participate in developing programs and department materials.
Experience/Qualifications • Typically a Doctorate in Counseling or Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution of higher education. Licensed in the State of California. • A minimum of five years post-graduate work experience, including substantial experience providing psychotherapeutic counseling and psychological counseling to adolescents and young adults, and supervision of mental health providers. Previous university or college counseling center experience highly desired. • Demonstrate ability to evaluate treatment programs and conduct independent research that provide evidenced based understanding of interventions.
