Job Description

We are assisting a treatment provider in its search for a full-time Behavioral Health Nurse Manager. The role serves as an integral member of the Behavioral Health Services leadership team, whose primary role is to supervise nursing practice and patient care and performance across inpatient programs. The Nurse Manager, as a member of hospital leadership, strives to achieve a safe and optimal patient care experience, including excellence in behavioral health nursing practice through effective collaboration with all disciplines. With 24-hour accountability for the coordination and continued oversight of two neurobehavioral units, he/she will assist the leadership team with all aspects of inpatient operations, including but not limited to: staffing, urgent medical and clinical issues, and administrative processes. They will be cognizant of, accountable to, and adheres to, standards established by regulatory and accrediting agencies and the hospital.

 
  • Qualified candidates will have a valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Connecticut.
  • Minimum of 2 years of management and clinical supervisory experience in a behavioral health setting.
  • Required: Associates or bachelor’s in nursing with a master’s degree in nursing preferred.
