Job Description
PsychPros, Inc. is seeking a bilingual Florida-licensed therapist to work remotely as a Behavioral Health Integration Clinician. The Behavioral Health Integration Clinician is responsible for providing high-quality and evidence-based patient support. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of clinical experience, with their independent credentials (LMHC / LCSW / LMFT or Psychologist). Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
Duties and responsibilities for this role include:
1. Screen and assess patients for mental health and substance abuse disorders. Facilitate patient engagement, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
2. Provide brief behavioral interventions using evidence-based techniques such as behavioral activation, problem-solving treatment, motivational interviewing, or other treatments as appropriate supported by the clinical technology software.
3. Support psychotropic medication management as prescribed by medical providers, focusing on treatment adherence monitoring, side effects, and effectiveness of treatment.
4. Systematically track treatment response and monitor patients (in person, video or by telephone) for changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects or complications.
5. Provide patient education about common mental health and substance abuse disorders and the available treatment options.
6. Provide or facilitate in-clinic or outside referrals to evidence-based psychosocial treatments (e.g. problem-solving treatment or behavioral activation) as clinically indicated.
7. Participate in caseload consultation with the psychiatric consultant and communicate resulting treatment recommendations to the patient’s medical provider.
8. Track and document patient progress and treatment recommendations.
