We are in need of a full time, direct hire Clinical Director in Battle Creek, MI.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Works in conjunction with the Medical Director and the Leadership Team to coordinate and implement quality assurance functions within the clinical services continuum of care programs including development and implementation of Best Practices/Evidenced Based Treatment modalities.  Shall perform clinical oversight and provide direction for agency clinical practices including, but not limited to: a)clinical competency standards, continuums, evidence-based practices; b)evaluation and oversight of the clinical internship programs - both Master and Doctoral Level; and c)developing and promoting clinical expertise.  Shall implement and monitor implementation of Evidence Based Treatment modalities including, but not limited to, neurobiofeedback, cognitive therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy. Shall provide and oversee clinical consultation for clinical practitioners.  Shall facilitate and ensure that the Behavior Management Committee meets MDCH guidelines and is comprised of appropriate disciplines.  Ensures clinical staff competencies.  Shall work on and/or promote community collaborative efforts and provides presentations/educational forums as assigned. Will ensure compliance with competency improvement activities including, but not limited to, credentialing, continuing medical education (per licensure and organizational requirements for populations served), professional improvement activities, and implementing self-managed teams. Demonstrates organizational, verbal/written communication, computer, analytical and problem-solving skills.  Shall be self-directed and resourceful.  Participates in corporate quality improvement and problem solving activities.  Maintains confidentiality and privacy within MHDDS, state and federal guidelines.  Utilizes knowledge of JCAHO, CMS, MHDDS and Managed Care standards.  Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications and Capabilities:  {EEO Screening Tool]
  • Full licensure in the State of Michigan at a doctoral level (Ph.D./Psy.D).
  • Five years of providing clinical supervision within a behavioral healthcare setting.
  • Two years of experience in providing clinical services and/or psychological testing, and psychotherapy, or the equivalent, and a demonstrated ability to coordinate clinical activities.
  • Specialized training, skills and abilities – lived experiences with behavioral health issues are desired.
