We are hiring for a Clinical Program Director in Bakersfield, CA.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the general supervision of the Chief Executive Officer, the Clinical Program Directors provides clinical/supervisory guidance, support and development to the therapists, interns, addiction counselors, and unlicensed case managers. To provide insight, guidance, and leadership in developing and maintaining a behavioral health and substance abuse program that meets patients needs and is compliant with federal and state regulations/standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:   
The Clinical Program Directors is responsible for the following duties:
    • Providing supervision to Life Coaches assisting in patient care
    • Providing weekly treatment team meeting to staff
    • Participate in weekly complex case management 
    • Working with  plan to assure CMS compliance in all aspect of members’ care
    • Collaborating with providers, regulatory agencies, and mental health community groups with the goal of improving access and treatment for members enrolled in Brand New Day health plan
    • Sharing deep knowledge and leadership experience to engage a multidisciplinary care team with the goal of offering patient centered cost-effective care.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with network providers and community agencies that drive the effectiveness of behavioral health management programs to meet organizational strategic and operational objectives.
    • Identifies staff and intern training needs and ensures development and implementation of programs that address needs; participates in delivering training sessions to meet the needs of staff related to clinical/program needs.
    • Guides staff and interns in their assigned duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority; consults with staff on problems.
  1. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master’ s degree in social work or PhD in Clinical Psychology.
  •  
  • A minimum of 5 years leadership experience preferably in a health care setting focused on behavioral health; candidates with an equivalent combination of education, experience, and proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may substitute the previously cited education and experience requirements; skilled in communications to interact in a compassionate, and appropriate manner with patients and their families
