Compensation
$82,581 – $87,728 (based on years of experience and value-added components per the Behavioral Health Compensation plan)
Job Summary
Provides clinical assessment, psychotherapeutic interventions, and case management with patients/clients in the course of treatment. F
CHELAN ONLY—In this generalist role, provides clinical assessment, psychotherapeutic interventions, and case management, with patients/clients across the lifespan. Follows departmental, WAC/RCW, and funding source guidelines.
Job Specific Competencies
1. Conducts clinical intake assessments and develops treatment plans.
2. Provides clinical counseling and case management services to patients/clients:
a. Provides ongoing individual, family, or group counseling, using strengths and evidence-based approaches.
b. Documents clinical activity according to policies and in compliance with required timelines.
c. Provides case management services as needed.
(1) Links clients and supports to community resources.
(2) Coordinates treatment services and intervention strategies with internal and/or external services and supports, as appropriate.
3. As need and assigned will provide continuity of care through outreach services, including direct patient/client interventions at off-site locations such as local schools and community agencies. Provides behavioral health outreach services with community partners, including providing education and training as directed.
Job Specifications
1. Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
2. Certification/Licensure: Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW) in WA State or eligible to obtain licensure upon hire. Valid Washington State Driver’s License with good driving record and access to a vehicle that is legally insured to be used for off-site clinical services consultation or case management. Basic Life Support required. All providers must be eligible for enrollment in Medicare and must not be currently opted out of the Medicare program.
3. Experience: Two years of mental health experience under the supervision of a qualified licensed professional to obtain licensure as indicated per RCW and WAC requirements.
