Job Description

A non-profit service provider in Jessamine County is seeking a full-time licensed clinical therapist for its community-based program.  The role will be responsible for the assessment, evaluation, and clinical counseling services for children and adolescents with substance use and emotional/behavioral disorders. Addresses behavioral health issues by providing individual, family, and group therapeutic counseling. The therapist will provide therapeutic services to families referred for crisis intervention, and the children/families will begin receiving these services immediately upon receipt of the referral (when caseload permits).  The Therapist will coordinate ongoing services for these families to further stabilize a more consistent pattern of behavior. 
Job Requirements
 
  • Must have a master’s degree from an accredited university in Clinical/Counseling Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related field.
  • Licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW or CSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC or LPC).
  • Prior experience in substance use disorders and mental health treatment for children/adolescents/ or families.
  • CPR and First Aid certified
  • Must have a valid Kentucky driver’s license and submit to an intensive background investigation.
