PsychPros is a nationally recognized staffing and recruiting firm dedicated to behavioral healthcare.  We are hiring a Peer Support Specialist to work with adults with mental health conditions in Upper Darby, PA.

This is a temp to hire position.

 Qualifications-
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • One year of related work experience (including internships and volunteer work)
  • Driver’s license
  • Covid vaccination/exemption

Pay-
  • $15.50/hour

Schedule-
  • Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm, 28 hours/week

Responsibilities-
  • Create and facilitate mental health group curriculum and lesson plans that support adult learning and knowledge discussing mental health recovery skill building, daily world events, and whole health support
  • Create handouts and maintain documentation to support the topic of the mental health group
  • WRAP trainings
  • Substance disorder groups
  • Peer support groups
  • Collaborate with participants to identify and access community resources
  • Support the development of a participant's mental health recovery plan
