We have an immediate Therapist opportunity available with an eating disorder treatment program in Philadelphia, PA. The Therapist provides intensive individual, family/couples, and group therapy (including meal support therapy) and coordinates all participants in milieu activities; oversees and coordinates the patient’ s treatment in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team. This position requires providing service to adults and adolescents in a manner that demonstrates understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
Schedule is M-F, 8: 30AM-5PM with a 30-minute lunch. This is a temporary assignment that is expected to last 4-6 months.
Education/Training/Experience:
Master’ s degree in counseling, social work. Minimum two years’ experience in direct services post degree, preferably with an inpatient/residential/PHP unit. Training with adolescents and dually diagnosed populations, experience with eating disorders and women’ s issues desired.
Licenses/Certifications:
Masters’ prepared mental health professional. Licensure and certification preferred, not required.
