Job Description

PsychPros is seeking a highly organized individual to serve as a Family Services Liaison for our clients contracts with the Office of Behavioral Health (OBH) for programs providing mental health assessments to children, youth, and families. This role will facilitate and monitor assessment completion by contracted and employed independent assessors.
Specific Duties:
• Serve as the liaison for family service programs. The role of Liaison is to help educate local Department of Human Services (DHS) offices, Division of Youth Services (DYS), judicial
2 districts, and other key stakeholders about the program, the requirements, and the processes.
• Provide timely referral management for those requesting a comprehensive assessment while also monitoring and ensuring that required time frames are met.
• Facilitate clinical review of each completed assessment with the OBH for final approval prior to executing programmatic next steps.
• Understand the continuum of child and youth behavioral health services in Colorado.
Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma, or equivalent required. Bachelor’ s degree in a relevant area such as Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Human Services, or another related field preferred • Knowledge of Colorado mental health, substance use, and child welfare delivery systems.
• Experience in behavioral healthcare service delivery across systems.
Required Skills: • Strong organizational skills and communication skills in all areas including written, verbal, presentation, one-on-one, and group settings.
• Ability to prioritize, work independently and research solutions with minimal direction.
• Strong, effective, and responsive written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work remotely or in office-based settings
• Excellent customer relations skills
• Good judgment, tact, initiative, and diplomacy to make effective independent decisions
• Organized, attention to details, and ability to manage a variety of tasks at the same time
• Ability to pass background check
• Valid driver’ s license.
• Ability to transport self to work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and able to learn other electronic systems.
