Job Description
PsychPros is a nationally recognized staffing and recruiting firm dedicated to the behavioral healthcare field. We are currently hiring a Case Manager to work full-time with clients experiencing homelessness and staying at an interim housing site in El Sereno, CA 90032. This is a TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT with the potential for converting to a permanent position for a strong candidate. The ideal candidate will be available to start immediately.
Requirements-
- One year of case management experience in a social service setting is required.
- Possess a valid California driver's license with good driving record and have access to properly registered vehicle required.
- Experience working with homeless or very low income individuals, persons with substance abuse issues or mental illnesses preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Sociology is preferred.

- The schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm.

Responsibilities-
- Conduct assessments of new residents
- Develop case plans
- Provide case management, support, and referrals to meet shelter, financial, social service, mental health and physical health needs during the resident’s stay at the shelter
- Transport participants as needed to essential appointments and to access necessary community resources
