Job Description
PsychPros is a nationally recognized staffing and recruiting firm dedicated to the behavioral healthcare field. We are currently hiring a Case Manager to work full-time with clients experiencing homelessness and staying at an interim housing site in El Sereno, CA 90032. This is a TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT expected to last approximately 3 months with the potential for converting to a permanent position for a strong candidate. The ideal candidate will be available to start immediately.
Requirements-
- Experience working with homeless or very low income individuals, persons with substance abuse issues or mental illnesses preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Sociology and a minimum of 1 year of experience in a social services setting.
- Possess a valid California driver's license and have access to properly registered vehicle.
- Candidates must be vaccinated or have an exemption for Covid.
Benefits-
- The pay is $23.50/hour
- The schedule is Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm

Responsibilities-
- Conduct assessments of new residents
- Develop case plans
- Provide case management, support, and referrals to meet shelter, financial, social service, mental health and physical health needs during the resident’s stay at the shelter
- Transport participants as needed to essential appointments and to access necessary community resources
