Lead Adolescent Mental Health Therapist
Job Description
A treatment provider in Greenville, MS is seeking a full-time lead mental health therapist to work with children and adolescents. The clients have a serious mental health or behavioral health condition and at risk of inpatient placement. The therapist will provide 100% of services in the community.
Responsibilities
- Deliver all mental health services (e.g., individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, substance abuse treatment, etc.).
- Complete all required clinical assessments.
- Responsible for the clinical oversight and clinical interventions related to the crisis management plan, the individualized service plan and Wrap-Around Meetings in coordination with the Primary Service Coordinator.
- Provide targeted clinical interventions based on the identified youth’s needs through the various assessments and plans.
- Complete required assessments and case documentation for each individual in a timely manner and within program requirements.
- provide around the clock support for the child/family through on-call services
- Master's degree in a behavioral mental health field.
- Professional license is preferred (LPC, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LMFTA) but a Mental health certification (CMHT) is acceptable.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- A minimum of two years' experience working with emotional disturbances and families with complex needs in a similar or more restrictive placement environment.
- Must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid Mississippi driver license, a good driving record, proof of legally appropriate auto liability insurance, and must be willing to use personal vehicle for organization business.
