Job Description

A treatment program in Essex County, MA has a full-time opening for a Lead Licensed Clinical Therapist. The Lead Therapist is responsible for some staff supervision and providing substance use disorder and mental health counseling, education, and support to adolescents and their families. The role will provide clinical services including, but not limited to, assessments, group therapy, individual therapy, family therapy, and other client care services such as discharge and aftercare planning.  In addition, they will be responsible for managing and facilitating primary groups and leading other therapeutic behavioral health efforts as designated by the Clinical Director.  

The ideal schedule is 10:45 am – 7:15 pm, Monday -Thursday, and 8:30-5 pm on Friday.

Requirements/Qualifications:
  • A master’s degree in clinical social work, mental health counseling, or a related field is required.
  •  LICSW or LMHC in the state of MA required with four years of relevant. 
  • Team leader or supervisor experience is a must.
  • Experience as a Therapist working with adolescents and their families specific to Mental Health and Addictions preferred.
  • Knowledge of legal policies and regulations in the healthcare industry is required.
