Job Description
PsychPros is a nationally recognized leader in recruiting for the behavioral healthcare field. We are currently recruiting for an Intensive Home-Based Therapist to work with children with mental health conditions and their families in Stark County, Ohio. The therapist will provide 100% of services in the community.
Qualifications-
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in the field of social work, counseling, psychology, or other license-eligible related field of human services required. Master’s degree preferred.
- LSW or LPC required. LISW or LPCC preferred.
- Experience working with behaviorally/emotionally challenged children and youth and knowledge to address transitional needs for ages 11-22.
- Knowledge and understanding of trauma-informed psychotherapeutic practices.

Responsibilities-
- Manage a caseload of 7 high needs families.
- Meet with clients an average of 3-5 hours per week.
- Provide assessment, treatment planning, and individual, family and group therapy.
- Help the child and family members in developing intervention strategies to improve behavior, management, communication, skills, social skills, and life management skills.
- Provide crisis intervention and be available for on call.
