Job Description
PsychPros is seeking a Licensed Therapist to provide treatment to youth and their families in the Huron County, Ohio community. The highly competitive compensation package includes flexible scheduling, a salary range of $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 annually, a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus*, a quarterly retention bonus, health insurance, student loan forgiveness, and a 401K starting Day 1.
You will collaborate with a small team and enjoy a small caseload working in a top-tier evidence-based program (See www.mstservices.com for more info about this exceptional treatment model). Additionally, the therapist will receive full ongoing training, including all necessary materials and resources. You will also have access to a highly available supervisor and weekly clinical consultation with an expert in the treatment model to help guide you in this role.
Social workers (LSW), counselors (LPC), marriage & family therapists (MFT), and psychologists (PsyD/PhD) seeking to do meaningful work with a dynamic non-profit behavioral health organization, are encouraged to apply. The clinician’s responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, engaging with families and key stakeholders, and implementing therapeutic interventions.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Current Licensure: Must possess a current LSW, LPC, MFT (or higher) license in the state of Ohio.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Experience: Demonstrated experience in clinical counseling of youth and families, with a preference for expertise in cognitive-behavioral therapy, structural family therapy, strategic family therapy, and behaviorally-based treatments.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational capabilities with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
Professional Development: Committed to continuous professional growth.
Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary, as this role requires frequent travel to client homes and community locations.
Preferred Experience
Counseling and/or case management with youth and/or families preferred.
Use of cognitive-behavioral therapy, structural or strategic family therapy, and behaviorally-based treatments, is highly valued.
*$5,000 sign-on bonus payable after completion of 1st 90 days.
