Job Description
A treatment provider in Hattiesburg, MS, is seeking a full-time master's-level therapist to work with children and adolescents. The clients have a serious mental health or behavioral health condition and are at risk of inpatient placement. The therapist will provide 100% of services in the community.
Responsibilities
- Deliver all mental health services (e.g., individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, substance abuse treatment, etc.).
- Complete all required clinical assessments.
- Responsible for the clinical oversight and clinical interventions related to the crisis management plan, the individualized service plan and Wrap-Around Meetings in coordination with the Primary Service Coordinator.
- Provide targeted clinical interventions based on the identified youth’s needs through the various assessments and plans.
- Complete required assessments and case documentation for each individual in a timely manner and within program requirements.
- Provide around the clock support for the child/family through on-call services.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related behavioral health field required
- Mental health Certification (PCMHT or CMHT) and/or license (LPC, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LMFTA) within 30 days of employment
- Must have at least two years clinical experience working with children and youth with serious emotional disturbances and families with complex needs
- Must have a valid driver license, a good driving record, proof of legally appropriate auto liability insurance, and must be willing to use personal vehicle for organization business
