Job Description
PsychPros, Inc. is a nationally recognized and award-winning staffing and recruiting firm for behavioral healthcare. We have an immediate temporary master's level Mental Health Social Worker assignment available with a large hospital system in Los Angeles, CA 90012.
Qualifications-
- Candidates must have a master's degree in social work with an active BBS registration (ASW) number and have relevant experience to qualify.
- Experience conducting intake, assessment, and group counseling.
- Our client requires all workers to have a completed Covid vaccine and booster.
Responsibilities include:
- Initial assessments to determine housing needs, find housing for the homeless, interact with patients and their families, and schedule follow-up appointments as needed.
- Arranges follow-up appointments post-discharge.
- Makes referrals to appropriate community services and outside providers.
- Coordinates transmission of clinical and benefit treatment to patients, families, and outside agencies.
- Acts as liaison for outside agencies, non-plan facilities, and outside providers.
Pay-$35/hour
Schedule-This assignment is to provide coverage for employees on leave and is expected to last 3 months.
- Work schedule will be M-F, 7:00 am-3:30 pm
