PsychPros, partnering with a well-respected mid-sized mental health agency, which prides themselves in its innovative approach to serving adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities with co-occurring mental health diagnoses, are searching for licensed mental health professionals interested in helping DD individuals achieve their maximum potential for independence while living a safe and rewarding life.

Compensation for this rewarding opportunity is in the mid 50’s, with outstanding benefits, a significant productivity bonus, 401k, and much more.

Typical day in the life as a Mental Health Therapist:
  • Performing Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluations as needed
  • Performing individual/family psychotherapy with assigned clients per the Individualized Service Plan (ISP)
  • Performing Crisis Psychotherapy as needed
  • Collaborating with the team for the development of the Individual Service Plan using a person-centered approach
  • Collaborating with the Behavioral Health Care Coordinator to maximize positive treatment outcomes for clients
  • Engaging in team meetings to support the effective treatment of individuals within an integrated care model; departmental meetings (2 X month) and all staff meeting (1 X month)
  • Attending the Mental Health/Therapeutic Behavior Support (MH/TBS) “BEHAVIOR” Team Meetings for clients assigned in the MH/TBS Pilot Program
  • Adhering to a positive team culture and promoting personal empowerment in the treatment process
  • Providing quality care through the provision of identified evidence-based approaches and interventions
  • Participating in activities to promote the professional growth and development of staff (trainings, conferences, case consultation)
  • Meeting established productivity requirements- 25 hours per week for full time employees- 75% productivity rate for part-time employees
  • Completing clinical documentation in the Electronic Health Record in session with clients per agency policy
  • Providing services and emergency coverage to clients as assigned by designated administrative supervisor
  • Documentation of work time in the time keeping application
  • Working a flexible schedule as appropriate to the needs of the clients 
  • Participating in the agency’s continuous quality improvement process

What we are we looking for?
  • An active/unencumbered Ohio license: SWT/LSW/LISW or CT/LPC/LPCC
  • Ability to provide effective interventions that promote client empowerment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact collaboratively with a team of professionals
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred
