Job Description

We are assisting a non-profit organization in its search for a full-time Program Director for their residential program in Ashford, Al. The role will oversee the program, supervise employees, and provide some direct client services.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervising a team, consisting of varied levels of education and experience 
  • Preparing and carrying out budgets for the program
  • Managing the resident finance program
  • Providing therapeutic services to consumers of the home
  • Partner with nursing staff to monitor the medication program
  • Use an electronic health record system to document and maintain consumer records 
  • Position will require on-call status to include nights, weekends and holidays based on program needs.  Position may have an assistant that will rotate on-call with Program Director.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work or related Mental Health field with successful completion of a relevant clinical practicum
  • Must have at least (2) years post masters experience in a direct service position 
  • Completion of a clinical practicum
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Travel may be required within the catchment area and/or statewide to meet program and training needs
  • Licensure as an LPC, LICSW or LMFT in the State of Alabama is preferred but not required

The work schedule is Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm

This position will require some on-call, weekends, evenings, and/or holidays as needed to meet program needs.
