Job Description
A non-profit agency in Marion, IN is seeking a full-time Psychiatric APRN. The role will provide comprehensive mental health care services to individuals and families, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of psychiatric conditions. The APRN will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver the highest quality of care and support to clients.
The work schedule is M-F, 8 AM-5 PM. The employer is offering a competitive compensation package.

JOB RESPOSNIBILIITES
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
- Diagnose mental health disorders based on clinical criteria and client history.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, including monitoring for efficacy and side effects.
- Implement and oversee treatment plans, adjusting as needed based on client progress.
- Oversee treatment processes when performing as Inpatient attending provider -provide daily Inpatient rounds as needed.
- Offer support and education to clients regarding mental health conditions and treatment options.
- Address emergencies and provide crisis intervention when necessary.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health.
- Valid RN license and APRN license in Indiana.
- Previous experience in psychiatric or mental health settings preferred.
- Proficiency in prescribing and managing psychiatric medications.
- Manage the needs of persons seen for medication follow-up (balancing medical and psychiatric needs)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
