We are hiring for a Psychologist in Shelbyville, IN.
  • JOB SUMMARY
    • We are hiring for an outpatient mental health office serving children (ages 3+) through adults, with opportunities for individual therapy and play therapy as well as psychological testing. Specific psychological tests used include IQ/educational assessment, personality assessments, and other social-emotional assessments.
      The Staff Psychologist is expected to maintain a rolling caseload (appx 60) to meet the needs of the center and physician referrers.  The composition of the Staff Psychologist' s caseload depends on the  specialties of the Staff Psychologist and the needs/referrals of Medical Center.  The typical schedule will include one day per week  coverage during Psychology' s daily walk-in/crisis hours, 2+ new patient appointments, follow-up psychotherapy appointments, psychometry, case management/admin time, and report writing.
  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
    • Professional & Technical Skills
      • Must have graduated or graduating from an APA-accredited graduate program in clinical or counseling psychology.
    • Education
      • Proof of completion of degree requirements by the start of the employment date is required.
    • License(s) or Certification(s)
      • HSPP
    • Other Skills or Requirements
      • Psychological  testing experience
    • Skilled to Care for Certain Age-Related Patient Groups (incumbents will be skilled in the care of the following patient groups)
