Job Description

We are assisting a social service agency in its search for a full-time Licensed Clinical Psychologist to work on-site in Winston-Salem, NC. The employer provides critical care and intervention for youth with histories of mental illness, neglect, trauma, or substance abuse. The juvenile court refers the clients, stay with us for 14 to 30 days, and receive comprehensive testing, observation, and support. Licensed psychologists and clinical case managers supervise them, and each child leaves with a personalized care plan that equips them for future success.

The Psychologist will be responsible for:
  • Oversight of the Crisis and Assessment Center.
  • Developing and refining the assessment protocols for individualized, evidence-based care.
  • Conduct psychological testing, ensuring thorough evaluations for each youth.
  • Communicate with Court Services and other stakeholders, ensuring seamless coordination of care.
  • Stay at the forefront of best practices, driving innovations in care.
  • Partner with fellow psychologists on research, consultation, and potential publications.
     
Qualified candidates will hold a Doctorate Degree in Psychology with an active NC Psychology Board license. Must have experience in diagnosis, treatment, and outcome evaluation for youth with strong writing, communication, and presentation skills.
