We are seeking a Psychologist, licensed for independent practice in the state of Pennsylvania, for an organization dedicated to providing high-quality psychological services to clients with co-occurring mental health issues. The clients have primary addiction disorders, but most also experience co-occurring mental health issues that require treatment concurrently with addiction treatment.  

    Part of the multidisciplinary team serving the Women’ s Unit
    Conduct psychological evaluations
    Provide services in Psychological Testing, Trauma-focused Treatment, Evidence-based Co-occurring Groups
    Participation in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings
    Psychotherapy (individual & group)
    Develop and provide in-service trainings on co-occurring topics
    The position also offers opportunities for clinical supervision & consultation, program/group development, and multidisciplinary collaboration

The ideal applicant will be enthusiastic and have a desire to participate fully in a collaborative, creative treatment environment with psychologists, physicians, nurses, and addiction counselors. Psychologists with an interest and experience/training in evidence-based PTSD and trauma treatment and/or psychological testing are preferred. We are seeking someone who values and utilizes evidence-based treatment approaches, including CBT and 3rd Wave CBT treatments (DBT, ACT, MBSR/MBRP).

    Psychology License and Psy.D. or Ph.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology required
    License for independent practice in Pennsylvania required. If not licensed, must be license-eligible and attain license within 6 months of hire
    Minimum of two-years’ experience in the field of psychology conducting psychotherapy and/or psychological testing.
    Must possess appropriate legal clearances (Act 33)
    If in recovery, two years of uninterrupted sobriety

    Must be able to work during scheduled hours as agreed upon, travel as needed, and deliver public presentations that may be lengthy, or involve multiple days.
    Must be able to walk and actively participate in activities throughout campus
