Job Description

We are hiring for a Psychologist in Kennewick, WA.
The Clinical Psychologist is responsible for and will be an advocate for the psychological health and well-being of the workforce.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conduct psychological evaluations of workforce employees enrolled in the Human Reliability Program.
• Conduct fitness-for-duty and readiness to return to work psychological evaluations using psychological and cognitive testing.
• Diagnose psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues that affect worker safety and ability to perform job tasks.
• Collaboratively develop treatment goals and identify evidence-based treatments for issues that affect work, such as anxiety, depression, stress, grief, coping with change anger, work performance, and drug or alcohol abuse.
• Work in collaboration with the Employee Assistance Program to provide confidential psychological counseling to adult clients and couples.
• Provide substance abuse evaluation and monitoring of compliance with community-based treatment resources.
• Provide psychological consultation on issues of workplace wellness, team development, and employee culture to major stakeholders including the Department of Energy.
• Collaborate and function as a member of a multidisciplinary occupational medical services team.
• Develop educational programming that supports workforce wellness.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities, regulatory compliance, and accreditation maintenance/compliance activities.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the minimum educational credentials from an
accredited school, college or university and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The
requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
• A doctoral degree from a clinical psychology program that includes completion of a oneyear
clinical internship approved by the American Psychological Association or an
equivalent program.
• An accumulated minimum of three years postdoctoral clinical experience with a major
emphasis in psychological assessment.
• Ability to provide evidence-based therapies to a culturally diverse population.
• Valid, unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in the state of Washington or the
ability to obtain Washington state license.
