PsychPros, Inc. is currently partnering with a new, innovative, remote workplace dedicated to providing excellent integrated mental health care.
We are currently seeking full-time, independently clinicians in the State of Michigan.
Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of clinical experience, with their independent credentials (LPC/LCSW). The company is looking for innovative, creative and collaborative people to help build their network of tele-clinicians in the state. We are looking for people that will go the extra mile to make sure that clients are receiving exceptional care.
Duties and responsibilities for this role include:
Screen and assess patients for mental health and substance abuse disorders. Facilitate patient engagement, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
2. Provide brief behavioral interventions using evidence-based techniques such as behavioral activation, problem-solving treatment, motivational interviewing, or other treatments as appropriate supported by the clinical technology software.
3. Support psychotropic medication management as prescribed by medical providers, focusing on treatment adherence monitoring, side effects, and effectiveness of treatment.
4. Provide health behavior and social determinants of health interventions to improve functioning and improvements in medical outcomes.
5. Systematically track treatment response and monitor patients (in person, video or by telephone) for changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects or complications.
6. Provide patient education about common mental health and substance abuse disorders and the available treatment options.
7. Provide or facilitate in-clinic or outside referrals to evidence-based psychosocial treatments (e.g. problem-solving treatment or behavioral activation) as clinically indicated.
8. Participate in regularly scheduled (usually weekly) caseload consultation with the psychiatric consultant and communicate resulting treatment recommendations to the patient’s medical provider.
9. Track patients follow up and clinical outcomes using the EHR. Document in-person, video and telephone encounters in the EHR and use the system and established clinical workflows to identify and re-engage patients.
10. Document patient progress and treatment recommendations in EHR and other required systems to be shared with medical providers, psychiatric consultants, and other treating providers.
