Residential Therapist

Leading organization dedicated to eating disorder awareness, treatment, and lifetime recovery, is seeking a Residential Therapist for its location in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develops, implements, and coordinates services, and monitors and evaluates individualized treatment plans.
  • Conducts assigned group counseling sessions.
  • Collaborates with the staff, community professionals, and community agencies in coordinating care services and maintaining continuity of care.
  • Identifies, supports, and evaluates clinical quality, and client-satisfaction improvement initiatives; completes assigned studies, audits, and ongoing monitoring of performance indicators.
  • Participates in case consultation.
  • Maintains clinical records in compliance with policies and regulatory standards.
  • May participate in quality assessment/peer review of documentation.
  • Provides clinical supervision as needed and appropriate based on licensure.
  • Maintains clinical records in compliance with policies and regulatory standards.
  • Maintains at all times the confidentiality of proprietary information and any client’ s or employee’ s medical, financial, or personal information, records, and data.
  • Maintains and enhances knowledge of current clinical practice, strategies, and developments through participation in his or her professional organization; attending related seminars, workshops, and conferences; and reviewing the literature.
  • Prepares and submits accurate, timely billing records.
  • Attends regular staff meetings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Current Minnesota license required (LP, LPCC, LMFT, LICSW, LMHC).
  • Individual & family psychotherapy experience required.
  • Must have valid Minnesota driver’ s license.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification required (American Heart Association) within 14 days from date of hire.
  • DBT experience preferred.

  • Demonstrates excellent clinical customer service using therapeutic communication skills to build strong client relationships and improve outcomes.
  • Participates in providing clinically competent care by self/staff/team through education, role modeling, team building, clinical documentation and quality monitoring.
  • Uses leadership, team building, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills to build partnerships within and across system.
  • Engages in self-evaluation process, seeking feedback regarding own practice, from clients, peers, professional colleagues and others.
