Job Description


We are hiring for a temporary Residential Therapist. It would be covering 2 locations in Wilsonville, OR. The position is a Residential Therapist with the qualifications being eligible QMHP through MHACBO with 2 years post grad experience. (this is required)  The contract will be from July 6th-Sept 30th.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: MUST BE QMHP CERTIFIED THROUGH MENTAL HEALTH & ADDICTIONS CERTIFICATION BOARD OF OREGON (MHACBO) – OR - MEET ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS TO REGISTER WITH MHACBO (GRADUATE DEGREE IN BEHAVIORAL SCIENCE FIELD OR A BACHELORS DEGREE IN NURSING AND BE LICENSED BY AN OREGON LICENSING BOARD).
  1. CLINICAL SUPERVISION
  • Provide clinical supervision for persons providing direct services related to the development, implementation and outcome of treatment services
  • Provide clinical supervision to assist program staff and volunteers to increase their skills, improve quality of services to individuals, and supervise program staff and volunteers’ compliance with program policies and procedures.
  • Provide and document two hours per month of supervision for each FTE person supervised. The two hours must include at least one (1) hour face-to-face contact for each person supervised, or a proportional level of supervision for part time program staff.
  • Individual face-to-face contact may include real time, two-way audiovisual conferencing.
  • Assist the Facility Administrator with training and clinical oversight of the Residential Associates who provide the 24-hour residential support services to the residents.
  • Participate in assigned clinical group and all activities assigned to the group.
  1. CLINICAL
  • Perform comprehensive psychosocial mental health assessments, mental health assessment updates and develop treatment plans.
  • Perform certain mental health functions (such as consultation, and individual and group therapy) or delegate these functions to appropriately qualified clinical staff
  • Provide clinical oversight and consultation to facility staff.
  • Demonstrate competence in leadership, wellness, oversight and evaluation of services, staff development, service planning, case management and coordination, utilization of community resources, group, family, and individual therapy or counseling.
  • Document and provide rationale for services to promote intended outcomes.
  • Implement provider policies.
  • Conduct mental status examination.
  • Review and approve service notes written by staff.
  • Complete a DSM diagnosis.
  • Write and supervise the implementation of a service plan and provide individual, family and group therapy with the scope of training.
  • Complete required risk, progress and residential assessments in a timely basis.
