Job Description
We have an immediate need for a part-time ACSW Medical Social Worker with medical experience for a temporary assignment at a full-service hospital in Downey, CA. we're looking for someone with a flexible schedule as the assignment may be some weekends and weekdays. The social worker will provide assessment, coordination, and implementation/evaluation of professional social services to patients and their families to aid them in coping with social, emotional, and economic difficulties related to medical problems or illness.
Pays $35.00 per hour.
Qualifications
A master's degree in social work accredited by the Council of Social Work Education with an active BBS registration as an ASW/ACSW. Must have at least one (1) year of work or recent internship experience in a medical/hospital setting. Demonstrated ability to work on a multidisciplinary team.
