Job Description
We are hiring for a Nurse Manager in Kankakee.
The Nurse Manager of the Adult Behavioral Medicine is responsible for the day to day operations of the inpatient nursing unit. The Nurse Manager supervises all nursing, CNA, and MHT staff and works collaboratively with the Clinical Services Manager and Milieu Manager to ensure proper care and treatment is provided to the patients served. The Nurse Manager shares with care providers the primary responsibility to establish and maintain a climate in which professional nursing is practiced, the nursing process is the accepted mode of operation, and the professional staff nurse is an integral part of the interdisciplinary team. The Nurse Manager ensures compliance with applicable state and federal requirements to assigned programs.
Experience/Education Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with a BSN required
Progressive experience in nursing field with a minimum of 2 years experience
• Psychiatric nursing experience preferred
Salary Range-90-120K
