For more than 40 years, this Lake City psychiatry practice has been a cornerstone of mental-health care in North Florida. The founding psychiatrist remains active in the practice, caring for generations of patients, and is ready for the next chapter, updating systems, adding services, and creating a smoother, more modern experience for patients and staff alike.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a licensed therapist-operator—someone who loves clinical work and enjoys fixing broken processes. You’ll provide therapy, lead new programs, and take point on bringing the office into the 21st century by implementing an EMR, setting up electronic billing, and creating systems that make care efficient and sustainable. What You’ll Do
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions (billable work).
- Lead rollout of an electronic medical record and electronic billing system.
- Partner with an outside billing company to improve claims and cash flow.
- Train and mentor three existing office staff—help them master new workflows.
- Streamline scheduling, payments, and documentation.
- Help design and launch new group programs (anxiety, recovery, or wellness).
- Work side-by-side with the psychiatrist and ownership team to build the foundation for future growth.
Who You Are
- Licensed LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Florida (independent licensure required).
- 3 + years of outpatient behavioral-health experience.
- Hands-on experience with EMR or billing system implementation is a big plus.
- Comfortable leading small teams and improving processes.
- Organized, resourceful, calm under pressure, and great with people.
- Entrepreneurial mindset—you like building, not just maintaining.
