Job Description


We are seeking a full-time Master 's-Level Therapist to work with children and adolescents who have a serious mental health or behavioral health condition and are at risk of inpatient placement.  The therapist will be community-based, serving clients in Hattiesburg and McComb.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver all mental health services (e.g., individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, substance abuse treatment, etc.).
  • Complete all required clinical assessments.
  • Responsible for the clinical oversight and clinical interventions related to the crisis management plan, the individualized service plan and Wrap-Around Meetings in coordination with the Primary Service Coordinator.
  • Provide targeted clinical interventions based on the identified youth’s needs through the various assessments and plans.
  • Complete required assessments and case documentation for each individual in a timely manner and within program requirements.
  • provide around the clock support for the child/family through on-call services
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a behavioral mental health field.
  • PCMHT/CMHT, LMSW, or certification/license eligibility is required.
  • A minimum of two years' experience working with emotional disturbances and families with complex needs in a similar or more restrictive placement environment.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid Mississippi driver's license, a good driving record, proof of legally appropriate auto liability insurance, and must be willing to use personal vehicle for organization business.
