PsychPros is a nationally recognized leader in recruiting for the behavioral healthcare field. We are currently recruiting for Direct Care Staff to work full-time at a Short Term Residential Therapeutic Program facility for ages 12-17 in Fair Oaks, CA.
Qualifications-
Bachelor’s degree preferred, relevant experience may be considered
Knowledge and understanding of the needs of children served in a children’s residential facility.
Skills and ability to engage and develop rapport with children who have various backgrounds and to provide consistency and behavioral limits through relationship-based interventions.
Possess a valid driver license with clean driving record and have daily access to a personal reliable and insured vehicle
Benefits-
$28-$32 per hour based on education and experience
Full benefits package including medical benefits, PTO, and 401K
Available Schedules-
Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
Monday-Friday 4:00pm-12:30am
Monday-Friday 12:00am - 8:30am
Saturday and Sunday only for all shifts
Responsibilities-
Provide a safe and nurturing environment for youth and assist them in regaining the stability necessary to return home or to a community-based placement.
Provide supervision, support, and intervention to clients in treatment.
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of each client.
Provide intervention to clients as specified in each clients’ treatment plan, including administration of treatment plan goals/objectives and setting of limits for behavior.
Document child’s progress; identify and communicate possible need for additional professional services.
Assist with the provision of or access to core services and supports, daily activities and emotional and social supports as necessary.
