Licensed Eligible Mental Health Therapist-Sign-on Bonus
Job Description
PsychPros is excited to partner with a well-respected non-profit behavioral health organization in Owensboro, Kentucky, to recruit a Licensed Clinical Therapist for its community-based program.
This position provides behavioral health assessments, diagnosis, and clinical treatment for children, adults, and families experiencing mental health and/or substance use concerns. The therapist will collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that promote personal growth, healthy coping strategies, and improved overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct behavioral health assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
- Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
- Help clients build insight, develop effective coping skills, and achieve treatment goals.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and uphold agency policies and values.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, client-centered care.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
- Current Kentucky licensure (or license-eligible) as LPCA, LPCC, LCADC, LCSW, MFTA, LMFT, or another applicable behavioral health license.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a behavioral health setting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
