Job Description
PsychPros is excited to partner with a well-respected non-profit behavioral health organization in Owensboro, Kentucky, to recruit a Licensed Clinical Therapist for its community-based program.
This position provides behavioral health assessments, diagnosis, and clinical treatment for children, adults, and families experiencing mental health and/or substance use concerns. The therapist will collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that promote personal growth, healthy coping strategies, and improved overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct behavioral health assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
Help clients build insight, develop effective coping skills, and achieve treatment goals.
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and uphold agency policies and values.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, client-centered care.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
Current Kentucky licensure (or license-eligible) as LPCA, LPCC, LCADC, LCSW, MFTA, LMFT, or another applicable behavioral health license.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a behavioral health setting.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
