Job Description


We are assisting a well-respected agency in their search for a full-time family preservation therapist to see clients in McComb and Natchez, MS. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dedicated, professional team that values an inclusive and respectful culture

Job Responsibilities
  • Works in collaboration with CPS, the Program team, and family to address mental health service needs
  • Collaborates with the case manager in the development of the Crisis Management Plan
  • Completes programmatic assessments, initial clinical goals, objectives and interventions for the case plan
  • Completes weekly case plan reviews, monitors, and documents progress toward service goals
  • Implements clinical treatment interventions based on the case plan and individualized needs of the family
  • Assists in the development and coordination of a discharge/aftercare plan
  • Available to the family and provides 24/7 crisis intervention as needed
Requirements
  • Master’s degree in social work, Psychology, Counseling, or related behavioral health field required
  • Mental health Certification (PCMHT or CMHT) and/or license (LPC, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LMFTA) within 30 days of employment
  • Must have at least two years of clinical experience working with children and youth with serious emotional disturbances and families with complex needs
  • Must have a valid driver's license, a good driving record, proof of legally appropriate auto liability insurance, and be willing to use a personal vehicle for community-based visits.
