Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 per year
Job Description:
Seeking an experienced and dedicated Mental Health Director/Supervisor to lead our mental health services team. The ideal candidate will oversee clinical operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality mental health care by our clinical staff. This leadership role requires a strong background in mental health practices and policies, best practices, and ethics established by licensing boards and the state of Oregon. A working knowledge of the standards, rules, and regulations established by the Oregon Health Authority is necessary. This position will play a pivotal role in maintaining our organization’s approach to mental health treatment and support.
Necessary skills:
· Provide supervision and mentorship to clinical staff and interns
· Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive treatment programs tailored to diverse patient needs
· Oversee patient care plans, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards
· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and improve service delivery
· Conduct assessments and provide direct counseling services
· Facilitate clinical staff training on emerging therapeutic techniques and ethical standards, and maintain records of clinical staff continuing education requirements and adherence
· Ensure clinical staff and organizational compliance with all legal, ethical, and organizational polices related to mental health services
· Audit clinical chart notes for compliance with regulatory standards
Job Requirements:
· Working in person at the clinic
· Licensed mental health professional (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC, or equivalent)
· Must be, or able to be, licensed in Oregon and certified as an approved supervisor in the state of Oregon
· Proven leadership experience in a mental health setting or healthcare organization
· Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
· Ability to manage multiple high-level tasks while maintaining high standards of care
· Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying informed about current mental health research and practices
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the mental health field.
