A respected community-based behavioral health provider is seeking a full-time Mental Health Therapist to support children and adolescents with serious emotional and behavioral health needs who are at risk of inpatient placement.
This is a 100% community-based role, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering services directly in the homes and communities of the families you serve.
What You’ll Do
- Provide a full range of mental health services, including:
- Individual, family, and group therapy
- Substance use interventions
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments
- Lead clinical oversight for:
- Crisis Management Plans
- Individualized Service Plans
- Wraparound team meetings
- Collaborate closely with the Primary Service Coordinator and multidisciplinary team
- Deliver targeted, evidence-based interventions based on client needs
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with program standards
- Participate in on-call rotation, providing 24/7 support to assigned families
What We’re Looking For
- Master’s degree in a behavioral health field (e.g., Counseling, Social Work, Psychology)
- Licensure preferred: LPC, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LMFTA
- (Mental Health Certification such as PCHMT or CMHT will also be considered)
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with youth with serious emotional disturbances and complex family systems
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Must be:
- At least 21 years old
- Licensed driver in Mississippi with a clean driving record
- Insured and willing to use personal vehicle for work-related travel
