We are currently hiring a Homeless Outreach Team Manager to work full-time in El Monte, CA, 91731. This is a TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT with the potential for converting to a permanent position for a strong candidate.
Qualifications-
MSW, MFT, or Master’s Degree in Psychology required
One year of supervisory experience preferred
One year of experience working with homeless individuals is preferred
Possess a valid California driver's license and have access to properly registered vehicle
Pay-
Pay $33/hour
Schedule-
Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm
Responsibilities-
Lead a multidisciplinary street outreach team serving the western region of the San Gabriel Valley.
Responsible for management and direct supervision of up to 4 team members.
Conduct outreach and housing navigation activities with a focus on chronically homeless and highly vulnerable individuals.
Provide services to clients on the streets and in encampments within the scope of mental health service including mental health assessment, referral and linkage to mental health providers, counseling, mental health support, and crisis intervention.
Connects individuals to other supportive services as needed such as mental health, health, substance abuse, legal, employment, etc.
Provide transportation assistance for the purposes of stabilizing the current housing crisis.
Assists individuals with accessing permanent housing opportunities including permanent supportive housing, move-in assistance, shared housing, affordable housing, etc.
