Registered Nurse – Jackson, Mississippi
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.
We are assisting a behavioral health service provider in Jackson, Mississippi, with its search for a full-time Registered Nurse (RN). This mission-driven organization is dedicated to improving the lives of children and adolescents by providing high-quality behavioral health services in a compassionate, collaborative environment.
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides nursing care for youth receiving behavioral health services, including assessments, medication coordination, physician support, and care planning. This role also oversees vital sign training, coordinates medical services, supports electronic health record processes, and collaborates with clinical leadership to ensure high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate nursing care using the nursing process
- Implement physician orders and monitor youth health status
- Coordinate medical, dental, and specialty appointments
- Complete required nursing documentation and medication monitoring
- Train staff on vital signs and infection control procedures
- Participate in treatment team meetings and collaborate with physicians and clinical staff
- Active Mississippi Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Two years of psychiatric nursing experience preferred
- One year of experience working with children and adolescents
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
