Registered Dietitian
Full-Time | Jackson, Mississippi

A mission-driven nonprofit residential treatment program in Jackson, Mississippi is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join its multidisciplinary team. This role provides individualized nutrition care for children and adolescents receiving residential behavioral health treatment while collaborating with clinical and dietary staff to support overall health and recovery.
Responsibilities
  • Complete nutrition assessments and develop individualized nutrition plans.
  • Monitor medication-nutrition interactions and recommend therapeutic diets.
  • Collaborate with the Dietary Manager on menus and meal planning to meet pediatric nutrition standards.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and nutrition regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
  • Provide nutrition education to youth, families, and staff.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential.
  • Eligible for or licensed as a Licensed Dietitian (LD) in Mississippi.
  • Experience with pediatric, behavioral health, residential treatment, or psychiatric populations preferred.
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and collaboration skills.
