The Role
The Senior Industrial-Organizational Psychologist will serve as a lead advisor and subject matter expert in the delivery of advanced psychological and cognitive assessments, with a focus on executive performance, leadership effectiveness, and decision-making under pressure. This individual will work directly with high-performing clients, translating complex psychological data into clear, strategic insight. The role requires a rare combination of technical depth, executive presence, and sound judgment,
particularly in high-stakes, confidential environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the design and delivery of comprehensive assessment engagements, including cognitive, personality, and leadership evaluations.
• Synthesize quantitative and qualitative data into insightful, actionable recommendations.
• Conduct executive-level feedback sessions, demonstrating clarity, authority, and discretion.
• Advise clients on leadership effectiveness, resilience, cognitive performance, and behavioral optimization.
• Partner with internal clinicians and specialists to deliver integrated, high-touch client solutions.
• Contribute to the refinement of methodologies, frameworks, and client experience standards.
• Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical practice.
Candidate Profile – Experience
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience in industrial-organizational psychology, executive assessment, or related advisory work.
• Demonstrated experience working with senior executives or high-performance populations.
• Deep expertise in psychometric assessment, interpretation, and feedback delivery.
• Experience in boutique consulting, private practice, or similarly high-touch environments is strongly preferred.
• Strong psychometric background with a demonstrated ability to work deeply with data and quantitative analysis; comfort living in the numbers is essential.
• Minimum of 3+ years of combined experience conducting candidate assessments for large corporations or financial services firms.
Candidate Profile – Credentials
• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Licensed Psychologist in the State of New York.
