Job Description
We have an immediate part-time, temporary Mental Health Social Worker assignment available at a well-respected hospital system in Los Angeles, CA 90012.
$36 an hour
Responsibilities include:
- Providing group therapy
- Assessments
- Makes referrals to appropriate community services and outside providers.
- Case management
- Coordinates transmission of clinical and benefit treatment to patients, families, and outside agencies.
- Acts as liaison for outside agencies, non-plan facilities, and outside providers
- Arranges follow-up appointments post-discharge.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have a master's degree in social work with an active BBS registration (ACSW) number and have relevant experience to qualify.
- Experience conducting intake, assessment, and group counseling.
- Must be available to work 2-3 weekdays between 7 am to 4:30 pm
